Since the common thing among us is IT, we chose to talk about ICT best practices in universities. We will provide best practice case studies from three UAE universities that emphasize successful implementation/integration of educational technology or university initial stage of knowledge construction with commitment to sustain further student learning via technology. The following universities will be highlighted: Paris Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi-As all teachers are not permanently based on the campus and PSUAD does not provide any courses via distance learning. PSUAD will provide best practices of faculty able to sustain the teacher/student relationship and support ongoing learning during the period when they are off campus prior to returning to Abu Dhabi. HCT-Courses are delivered face 2 face based on an information transfer paradigm. Best practices will be highlighted focusing on faculty who are successfully introducing technology into the curriculum utilizing models that work best for this institution. HMBEU-Highlight best practices in relation to successful blended learning, the tools that helps the learners to be in touch with each other and their teacher throughout the semester without many face to face sessions.
To achieve this goal, we worked as a group, using: Mind mapping (brain storming, problem solving, decision making), Wiggio ( It is used for the group members for their meetings, document sharing, polls, discussions) and Wimba (for our meetings).
We did work together collaboratively, respecting each other and respecting each other's experience and knowledge. We did meet 2 times, before we start the project and before submitting it. We did communicate using Wiggio.
